ELSA Łódź

Description

ELSA Łódź is 21 years old local group located in the very heart of Poland. We have a lot of experience in organizing international project such as Law Schools (which we have had two editions), Slavic Officers' Meeting and plenty of Instututional Visits and Study Visits. Members of ELSA Łódź are open-minded and warm people who loves to get to know new people from all over the world and travel.

Łódź, the third largest city in Poland, is a cultural phenomenon and a fascinating place inhabited by distinguished artists, scientists and industrialists. Since the early 19th century it has been a cradle of cooperation between four nations: Poles, Germans, Jews and Russians. They all coexisted in harmony and worked together in order to build Łódź as a powerful place to live – a Promised Land for newcomers. Across the city colossal, colourful murals are appearing on the walls of derelict apartment blocks, warehouses and factories in ever-growing numbers. And many of these arresting pieces of art are enormous, ebullient interpretations of traditional Polish tales.
