Description
Greifswald is a small city in the north-eastern part of Germany. It is located right next to the Baltic Sea. About 20 percent of the approximate 60.000 inhabitants living here are students of the University of Greifswald. The biggest employer in the city is actually the University. That is the reason for a very young and lively atmosphere in the city. We have a beautiful town centre with many bars and restaurants and a small harbour right next to it. In the summer the beach of the Baltic Sea is a popular destination for students to escape from the daily routine. As Greifswald is one of the oldest universities in Germany, there are a lot of interesting historical spots you can visit.
ELSA Greifswald is one of the smaller groups in Germany. Right now we have about 120 members, but we are still growing. Our team is highly motivated and we are looking forward to welcome some of you guys.City, Country

You can reach Greifswald by train or bus. It´s a three hour trainride from Berlin and three and a half hours from Hamburg. From the train station you can walk to the city centre or to the Hostel. It´s a ten minute walk.Ideal length of Visit
