'Palace of Versailles' served as an inspiration for it.
Potsdam also offers especially for art enthusiasts a great variety of possible cultural experience such as theatre and music festivals or exhibitions and a new art museum (

Methods of getting from the airport(s)/train-station to the City Centre/Hotel
There are very good bus and train connections from both airports (Berlin Tegel/ Berlin Schönefeld) to 'Potsdam-main station'. From 'Potsdam-main station' there are also a lot of tram/bus connections to the city centre and the hotel (and also to Berlin).

The ideal length of the SV is something between four and seven days.
