Description
Although Graz is the second biggest city in Austria with more than 280.000 inhabitants, we got a lot of green areas like parks and opportunities which offer the possibility to escape the daily stress of a city life. The biggest park in Graz, the Stadtpark, is well known as a chilling area since a lot of students spending their free time there playing football, reading or studying.
The city is not only famous for its beautiful green areas but also for the well-known Uni4tl since Graz is THE students’ city of Austria. Due to the fact more than 50.000 young people are studying here, there are several possibilities to spend the evenings right. The Uni4tl consists of two streets with plenty of restaurants, bars, pubs and more than 5 clubs, located near to our university and its campus.
Moreover, our city has its own “Hausberg” which means a small mountain near Graz, called “Schöckl”. After walking approximately one and a half hours you can enjoy a beautiful view all over the city from the top, especially while sunrise. About ELSA Graz: Our team consists of approx. 55 people, we meet every Thursday to discuss our events etc., followed by social activities (means drinks with the team).
