ELSA Warsaw
The history of our Local Group, ELSA Warszawa, dates back to 1989. Right now ELSA Warszawa has about 200 active members who study law at numerous varsovian universities.
Warsaw is the biggest city in Poland - the centre of its economic, political and cultural events and at the same time the capital of the country. This vibrant metropolis of complex and rough history offers you a fascinating collection of neighbourhoods and landmarks. Once you’ve travelled around the Poland, you realise that Warsaw is different. Rather than being centered around an old market square, the capital is spread across a broad area with diverse architecture: restored Gothic, communist concrete, modern glass and steel.
Warsaw has played an incredible role in a history and democracy of our country. This is where the Polish parliamentarism was introduced and the first constitution in Europe was passed. Here Frideric Chopin was composing his Etudes and Polonaises and Marie Skłodowska-Curie was born.
This beautiful city of contrasts, inspirations and surprises is waiting for you to experience Polish hospitality, warmth and kindness.
